There has been a renewed interest in Natalie Harp, US President Donald Trump's aide, after comments by Georgia Democrat Senator Jon Ossoff about her being repeatedly seen accompanying him at events recently.

Ossoff, who is up for re-election, took a jab at the US president at a campaign rally on Sunday, saying, “He doesn’t want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenceless flying palace gifted by the Emir of Qatar.”

The comment is a reference to an incident where the president’s executive assistant appeared on Trump's side when he secretly travelled by military jet from Turkey instead of his Air Force One amid security concerns.

Harp, 35, started working as the president's personal assistant in 2022 after leaving One America News, a right-wing cable network. She came under Trump's radar in 2019 after she shared a story of her living with bone cancer and surviving with it.

The PA attributed her current health to Trump's “Right to Try” policies in a Fox News interview. However, it was later revealed that the drug she received that helped her with cancer had nothing to do with the scheme, The Daily Beast reported.

In 2024, she worked with Trump for his election campaign. Her brother Preston told the Daily Mail in June that Harp’s relationship with Trump was “very unhealthy and that he was just like his fan club”

In 2023, she reportedly wrote Trump a string of personal letters that she left in his personal spaces. According to the New York Times. One letter read “You are all that matters to me.”

Harp has now been nicknamed the “human printer” because she prints out the physical material that the president reviews.

She also informs people who try to reach the president via her by giving them a code word, “Printed” to indicate that the message has reached Trump.

Trump would respond to the message on the paper.

The aide also vets what information reaches Trump. Harp is also responsible for posting Trump’s social media posts and text messages, which he dictates to her.

Ossoff's comments on Sunday prompted backlash from White House officials, including Steven Cheygu, who called him a “cuck loser.”

Trump also hit back at Ossoff saying “You mean Pee-wee Herman? (He’s a) Pee-wee Herman look-alike.”
