Zohran Mamdani’s mother, Mira Nair, named in new Epstein file dump, along with recurring Musk, Clinton, Lutnick, Bezos

Mira Nair, mother of New York Zohran Mamdani, was mentioned named in one of the newly released Jeffrey Epstein file dump for attending an after-party hosted by Ghislaine Maxwell in 2009

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s mother, Mira Nair, is mentioned in one of the newly released troves of documents related to the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Nair reportedly attended an after-party at convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell’s house after the release of her film Amelia.

The event was also attended by former president Bill Clinton and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos among others.

The names are mentioned in an email sent by Peggy Siegal to Epstein on October 21, 2009.

“Just left Ghislaine’s townhouse…after party for film,” the message reads.

“Bill Clinton and Jeff Bezos were there…Jean Pigozzi, director Mira Nair…etc. Film received tepid reaction though women like it much more…Hillary Swank and [Richard] Gere are at stupid party in Bloomingdales cheap sportswear department…very weird,” Peggy continued.

“Studio went for free party from store and windows for a month… Going to be in Wall Street 2 tomorrow ….more to come. xoxo Peg.”

Nair directed the 2009 biopic on Amelia Earhart, a pioneer aviator starring Hillary Swank as the titular character and Richard Gere as her husband George Putnam.

Nair is just one name out of a massive list of acquaintances Epstein seems to have had, according to the 3 million documents published on Friday. About 800,000 new files were identified in the new release.

Some of the recurring names in them include Elon Musk, Melania Trump, Bill Gates, Kathryn Ruemmler, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and Steve Tisch, the co-owner of the New York Giants. About 6 million pages were reviewed by prosecutors in the last two months, and after making redactions of victims and abuse material, around 3.5 million pages were published. The latest release also contained around 2000 videos and 180,000 images.

The files also contained at least 4,500 documents mentioning US President Donald Trump according to the New York Times. The documents reveal the friendships and interactions of Epstein with a wide range of influential people.

Musk and Epstein exchanged messages between 2012 and 2014 comparing schedules to find time to meet in Florida or in the Caribbean.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick meanwhile planned a trip to Epstein’s island for a lunch gathering along with his wife, children and another family. Lutnik has however denied tht he spent time with Epstein.
