Her halo is vivid red, with the golden trident coat-of-arms of Ukraine flanking her. Her robes are green, and she wields an anti-tank missile launcher, the FGM-148 Javelin. The javelin is a symbol of the Ukrainian conflict. On February 25, Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar announced that Ukraine has destroyed 80 Russian tanks, ten planes, seven helicopters, and 516 armoured combat vehicles.

Those are staggering figures that demonstrate Ukraine's perseverance in this conflict. Without the Javelin, Ukraine would probably not be able to take out the many armoured Russian battalions.

To help Ukraine, a website with the same name has been formed to generate funds. The website sells t-shirts, flags and stickers with the St Javelin emblem.

What exactly is a javelin?
Javelin is a lightweight weapon (about 50 pounds) may be launched by soldiers and does not require a millie launcher. It was designed by US defence firms in the late 1980s.

Javelin is a "shot and scoot" weapon, which means you don't need to stay with it once it's fired to guide it to its intended target. According to a VICE report, this allows soldiers to stay out of the way of potential retaliatory fire from their target.
