RE Interceptor 650—Prince William's new love?

Interceptor 650 Royal Enfield's Interceptor 650

Ever the lover of bikes, Prince William seems to have found his new love in Royal Enfield's Interceptor 650.

Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, was spotted talking to Siddharth Lal, the CEO of Royal Enfield, at the recently concluded Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting summit in London. The Royal Enfield company's social media team proudly posted about the interaction on their Facebook page.

The Interceptor 650 was unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan in 2017, and ever since, it has gained a huge fan following. The bike has not yet been launched in India.

Prince William, apparently, has taken after Prince Albert (1920) in his love for bikes. He owns Ducati 1198S Evo Corse SE and Ducati 1098R Bayliss Replica. He also owns a Honda Super Blackbird.

Though his royal duties and family commitments (third child on the way) might be keeping Prince William away from his bikes, the future king still finds time for his two-wheeler rides. He has been spotted on bikes on several occasions by the public.

Let's hope he instils his love for bikes in his kids too, though Kate might disagree!
