Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are among the most influential celebrity couples in India and perhaps, globally as well. Kohli remains the biggest brand in Indian cricket, for India's national team and his IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru, even at the age of 37 with his international career at its final stages.

Once a leading actress in Bollywood during her prime, Anushka's professional career has understandably declined after motherhood. However, her net worth is still strong and also owns the production house Clean Slate Filmz along with her brother Kamesh. Meanwhile, a big news that's floating around is regarding Anushka's alleged interest in buying a stake in the RCB franchise.

Reports claim that Anushka is eyeing a stake of 3 percent, reportedly worth Rs 400 crore, in the IPL franchise. However, there hasn't been any authentic sources to verify these reports as things stand, the speculations seem untrue. There is a change in IPL ownership incoming for RCB but that is an entirely different topic altogether.

There is understandable excitement on social media regarding Anushka's interest in RCB's stake but there doesn't appear to be any truth to it. The valuation of Rs 400 crore also appears to be inaccurate till now, considering that there hasn't been any official clarification of where these figures came from.

RCB, though, had a terrific 2025 as they won their first-ever IPL title and also overtook CSK in terms of brand value in the list of franchises. Currently, RCB are at second spot with MI still the most valuable franchise.
