It's wedding bells for India middle-order batsman Manish Pandey, if reports are to be believed. And the bride is, reportedly, none other than south Indian actress Ashrita Shetty.
Pandey, 30, is currently leading Karnataka in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. The skipper is in red-hot form for his side, having notched up four fifties and one hundred in six matches so far.
The wedding is expected to take place in Mumbai on December 2, according to Mid-Day. It will be a two-day private affair. Interestingly, India are scheduled to play a 3-match T20I series in the city, beginning December 6.
The Uttarakhand lad has represented India in 23 ODIs and 31 T20Is, scoring 440 and 565 runs respectively. He is also the first Indian to score a century in Indian Premier League. Though a talented middle-order batsman, Pandey is yet to cement his place in the Indian team.
Shetty, on the other hand, is a well-known actress in the south Indian film industry. The 26-year-old has featured in films like Indrajith, Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum, and Udhayam NH4.
