Revealed: Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+ prices in India

The smartphones will be available in India from March 16

South Korean electronics giant Samsung has priced its recently launched flagship smartphones Galaxy S9 and S9+ at Rs 57,900 and above for its Indian market. Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be offered at a price of Rs 57,900 and Rs 64,900, respectively for 64GB variants and Rs 65,900 and Rs 72,900, respectively for 256GB variants. 

The smartphones will be available in India from March 16. The company has partnered with Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio for India launch. Samsung had launched the latest generation of its premium Galaxy S range just ahead of the Mobile World Congress last week in Spain's Barcelona.

The phones are widely touted as Samsung's answer to Apples iPhone X and Googles Pixel 2 series. 

Features

To compete with its rivals, Samsung has brought in features like dual aperture and slow motion video options, dual-stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos.

Display: Galaxy S9 comes with 5.8-inch display whereas Galaxy S9+, on the other hand, features 6.2-inch display.

RAM: While S9 has 4GB RAM, S9+ looks more promising with its 6GB RAM. Both devices support expandable memory of up to 400GB.

Camera: 12MP rear and 8MP front cameras support S9 whereas S9+ goes one step ahead with 12MP rear and front cameras.

Battery: S9 comes with a 3,000 mAh battery.  S9+, on the other hand, has the power of 3,500 mAh battery.
