The UAE continues to be one of the top global destinations for international capital, with the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah attracting Dh771.5 million in new investments during the first six months of 2026.
According to officials, over 967 new establishments joined the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, thereby underscoring the emirate’s growing appeal as a regional business and investment hub.
The new businesses brought 1,399 investors from 68 nationalities to the emirate during the first half of the year, according to Gulf News.
Dr Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Director General of the RAK Chamber, said the figures demonstrate the strong performance of the local economy and sustained growth across a wide range of economic sectors.
Over 9,963 business licences were renewed during the six months, while 138 new establishments were registered in the emirate’s free zones. Besides, 70 branches of local and international companies were opened, Al Nuaimi was quoted by Gulf News.
This growth will also translate to more employment, with the expectation that the investment could generate over 2,449 new jobs. This will contribute to Ras Al Khaimah’s economic development goals, he added.
The Emirate has also been witnessing an uptick in its real estate sector, fuelled by major infrastructure spending, strategic government mergers, and a profound influx of luxury-branded residences.
By the end of 2025, the ValuStrat Price Index (VPI) recorded a 14.9% annual increase in freehold residential capital values, reaching 122.2 points in Q3 2025. The growth was mostly driven by apartments, especially in key waterfront communities, including Al Marjan Island.
