A 27-year-old cafe owner, Shiva Sharma, died after falling from the fourth floor of Awadh Green Apartment in the Hazratganj area on Saturday.

The man’s mother, Ranjana Sharma, has now levelled serious allegations against his live-in partner Shraddha Dubey, her sister Rashmi, driver Danish alias Saurav Kashyap and one Adil. Dubey is an influencer based in Delhi and has around 150,000 followers on Instagram. She hails from Pushp Vatika, Ramjipuram, Malikamau, Rae Bareli.

Police are currently tracking all of the suspects.

According to Ranjana, Dubey has been harassing and blackmailing her son for about four to five months. Aside from his cafe, Shiva also ran a chicken business.

She claimed that Shraddha pressured Shiva into a live-in relationship. Shiva’s elder sister said that the two met at a cafe through a shared friend.

She also said that Shraddha subjected her son to violence, including physical assault and burning him with cigarettes when he refused to remain in a relationship with her. Shraddha also reportedly threatened to implicate him in false cases and defame him.

She also alleged that the influencer extorted large sums of money from her son.

A week before his death, Shraddha had reportedly threatened her, saying, "Hand me your son, or you will face consequences you cannot imagine."

At around 8:30 pm, Shiva’s mother received information that he was in an accident and that he was rushed to Lohia Hospital. They later learned that he was taken to the medical college room.

The family alleged that Shraddha’s driver, Saurav Kashyap, was near the ambulance and fled the scene when the family arrived.

Ranjana also allged shiva was held hostage and subjected to various kinds of physical abuse and torture before he was thrown from the fourth floor of the building.

An FIR was registered against her and other accused based on the mother’s complaint.

According to Haxratganj Inspector Vikram Singh, CCTV footage showed Shiva falling from the building at around 6:24 pm. Shraddha and her companions came down by 6:25 and then took him away by car by 6:26 pm.

He reportedly had several injuries, including to his eyes and jaw. He also had fractured ribs and a left, and was bleeding from the ears and nose. There were also cigarette burns and scratches on his body. A postmortem confirmed that he died due to shock and haemorrhage.

According to Hazratganj Inspector Vikram Singh, Shiva had fired a shot outside a cafe a year ago and had an FIR registered against him. He was absconding from the police for some time and was then arrested in Bihar by an STF.

Hazratganj ACP Rajneesh Verma said that the circumstances surrounding the death of the man are being investigated. The accused person's mobile phones are switched off, and they are absconding.
