Uttar Pradesh MP and Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) chief Chandrashekhar Azad has alleged that a conspiracy was in place to assassinate him. The Dalit leader claimed that he received information that a plot to murder him had been hatched at a farmhouse and demanded that the government conduct a high-level investigation into the matter.

"A conspiracy has been hatched to murder me at a farmhouse. Whether it's the UGC or the protests against reservation, I have been the sole voice of the Azad Samaj Party across the state, whether it's the case of Ram Lakhan Maurya or Vinod Sahni. Wherever there has been oppression against the backward and Dalit communities, we have raised the voice of the weak," he said.

Since these people are unable to stop us politically, a murder plan has been hatched at the farmhouse. The government should investigate this so that the truth can be revealed. If my people are with me, such thugs will have to flee Uttar Pradesh," he said.

“Today, the question isn't just about my safety. When an elected representative and a Member of Parliament, who enjoys protection, is stoned in broad daylight, and attempts are made to set his car on fire using bottles filled with flammable substances, and the accused are so emboldened. Now, imagine the state of security and justice for Dalits, backward classes, and Muslims in this state?

Recently, MP Chandrashekhar was on his way to Gonda
to meet the family of businessman Vinod Kumar Sahni, who was murdered in Gonda, when his convoy was stopped near the toll plaza in Barabanki. A scuffle between his supporters and the police followed. He released a video regarding this.
