Police are now searching for two Gogi gang members who are based in Canada in the murder investigation of singer Ankit Baliyan.

Officials said that the process of extraditing Chirag and Monty, who are based in both Canada and the United States, will begin soon.

Shamli Superintendent of Police Narendra Pratap Singh said that police believe that questioning the men would provide answers to many questions relating to the murder.

Police are also trying to determine the extent of Chirag and Monty’s involvement in the murder.

According to local reports, the shooters, who were both killed in a police encounter, were tasked with killing Baliyan via instructions handed through Snapchat messages.

They were strictly asked to communicate with the handlers only via the social media platform, Jagran reported.

To avoid detection by the police, the shooters used at least ten Snapchat IDs each to plan and execute the murder. Police said that the each Snapchat ID was used for a single conversation and then immediately deactivated

The reconnaissance of the scene, route chart and the minute photos were sent by the shooters to Monty Mann, the handler of the gang.

Police sources said that Monty Mann handled the snapshot ID while Bholu Shapuria instructed the shooters via snappcall.

Chirag was responsible for coordinating the entire network.

Police identified about 100 active operatives associated with the hand and are conducting raids in several states to arrest the.
