He demanded accountability for the use of pellet guns against protesters at Jantar Mantar and invoked the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan as Union Education Minister as an example of necessary government action. After arriving in his hometown, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Wednesday warned the Centre that the youth will "change the government" if the government did not fall in line.

"The government should conduct itself well now. The blood of students was spilled on the streets on July 20 (during the march to Parliament). It was really bad. Wasn't it enough that the students are still being troubled? In many states, police are visiting the houses of students and threatening to arrest them," he claimed.

He pointed out that these students are not terrorists, but the future of India. "If the future of the country is troubled in such a way, then just as Dharmendra Pradhan had to step down....tomorrow, we will go and change the government if it did not fall in line," the CJP founder said.

Dipke said the government should stop harassing those who participated in the protests, seeking action against the person who order used of pellet guns against Jantar Mantar protesters.

"Whether it be Amit Shah (or anyone else), action should be taken against the person who gave orders to fire pellet guns," he said.

The CJP founder warned the government against presuming that the anger of students has subsided after Dharmendra Pradhan stepped down as Union Education Minister. "If needed, we will launch a fresh agitation on a much bigger scale," he warned. "The government is forcing us to start a protest against....it should stop troubling the students."

This comes as the CJP leaders met Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson Rakesh Tikait in New Delhi to discuss joining hands for their agitation. Local reports suggest that a group of Gen Z protesters arrived at a farmers protest site in Bhopal in solidarity with the farmers.

The farmers had marched around 80 km from Narmadapuram on Monday and arrived in Bhopal on Tuesday, demanding 100 per cent moong (green gram) procurement at a Minimum Support Price (MSP).  They intended to march towards the residence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, but were stopped by security personnel at the Veer Savarkar Bridge on Hoshangabad Road.

For FY 2025-26 The Centre has set a quota of 4.54 lakh metric tonnes of moong for Madhya Pradesh, the largest moong-producing state. However, only 2 per cent of this quota has been procured as of July 16.
