The Indian Embassy in Vietnam on Saturday released a list of the 15 Indians who died after a speedboat capsized off Hon May Rut (May Rut Island) in the waters of the Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone.

Vietnamese authorities are currently probing whether the accident, that led to all 36 aboard the AG 26751 falling in the sea, was caused due to a malfunction or bad weather.

"It is with profound grief that we share the list of 15 Indian nationals who have lost their lives in the tragic boat accident near Phuc Quoc Island today. The list has been received from the Vietnamese authorities," the Embassy statement read.
