Pawar family wedding: Supriya Sule’s daughter Revati to get hitched to businessman

Wedding bells are ringing at the Pawar household. NCP leader Sharad  Pawar’s granddaughter and Supriya Sule MP’s daughter, Revati Sule, is  getting hitched, according to reports. The grapevine has it that Revati will soon tie the knot with Sarang Arun Lakhani, a businessman.

Not just that, the wedding apparently has been fixed under the mediation of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The news of the impending wedding was posted on X by Smriti Shinde, daughter of former Congress leader Sushil Kumar Shinde.

Who is Sarang Lakhani?

Sarang is reportedly the son of Arun Lakhani, the chairman and  managing director of Vishvaraj Group, a firm specialising in water sustainability, wastewater treatment, and road construction. He is also a good badminton player, who has participated in various national and international competitions. He has been working with Vishvaraj Group for more than 8 years as an executive director. Earlier, he worked at Modern Hydrogen as a Business Development Consultant (BDC), according to his LinkedIn profile.  

As for Revati, the only daughter of Supriya and Sadanand Sule, she did her graduation from the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She actively participated in her mother, Supriya Sule’s campaign for the first time during the Baramati Lok Sabha elections.

The family, however, is yet to announce the details of the wedding.

Sharad Pawar's health update

Supriya Sule, meanwhile, has issued an update on the health of her father, Sharad Pawar, who was admitted to a hospital in Pune following chest congestion. Supriya said Sharad Pawar is recovering well after being admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune. In a post on Instagram, Supriya said Pawar will need five days of antibiotics. She added that all   other viral parameters are normal and thanked doctors and well-wishers for their support.
