Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday and said the latter is overshadowing Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in this assembly election and trying to make him invisible. Kharge asserted Kumar will not return as chief minister after the election.
Addressing presspersons, while he saw many impressive photos of the prime minister's road show in Patna, Kharge said Bihar CM Kumar was nowhere to be seen. "I didn't see Nitish with him. Even at the rally, Nitish was nowhere to be seen. They (BJP) made him disappear to the point where they wouldn't even mention him as chief minister," Kharge said.
"PM Modi is playing a trick. He's trying to make Nitish Kumar invisible," Kharge charged. Accusing the prime minister and the Bihar chief minister of misleading the public, Kharge said Kumar may have been sworn in nine times, but he has done nothing for the state.
