The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to close the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) round 1 choice filling window on August 4.
Candidates who have registered have until 11.59 pm to fill their choices for the all-India quota counselling process at mcc.nic.in.
The choice locking facility started at 4 pm and will end at 11.59 pm, as per the official schedule. Going as per the official notification, next MCC will process seats for the first round and announce the allotment results on August 6.
Once that is processed, candidates who secure a seat need to report for admission at the allotted institutions between August 7 and 11.
Meanwhile, the Medical Council Committee (MCC) approved the conversion of 188 candidates from Indian to NRI status for the NEET UG 2025 counselling process, Indian Express reported.
These candidates need to submit their scanned documents to MCC via email. It was informed that the list of NRI candidates was compiled following a review of documents submitted by applicants.
