Amid row over 'Muslims' remark, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday hit out against Congress in Rajasthan that he had put the truth out before the country and reiterated that Congress is hatching a deep conspiracy to snatch "your property and distribute it to its special people".

While addressing a rally in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, PM Modi said that his speech had created panic among the INDIA bloc and the entire Congress.

"When I came to Rajasthan the day before yesterday, I had presented some truths before the country in my 90-second speech. This has created panic in the entire Congress and INDI alliance. I had put the truth before the country that Congress is hatching a deep conspiracy to snatch your property and distribute it to its special people. I exposed their vote bank and appeasement politics. After all, why is Congress so afraid of the truth?" PM Modi was quoted by ANI.

Modi said the thinking of Congress has always been of appeasement and vote bank politics.

Lashing out at Congress, Modi said that "listening to Hanuman Chalisa becomes a crime" under the party's rule. The previous Rajasthan government, spearheaded by Congress, had banned Ram Navami in the state, claimed Modi.

"Rajasthan has been the sufferer...In the rule of Congress, even listening to Hanuman Chalisa becomes a crime. For the first time on Ram Navami this time, a Shobha Yatra procession was taken out in Rajasthan," said Modi.

PM's 'Muslims' remark was called as a "hate speech" by the Opposition.

Modi on Sunday hit out at Congress by criticising its manifesto promising distribution of properties.

"When Congress was in power, they had said that Muslims have the first right to the country's assets. This means to who will this property be distributed? It will be distributed among those who have more children," PM Modi said in Rajasthan.

"It will be distributed to the infiltrators. Should your hard-earned money go to the infiltrators? Do you approve of this?" he added.
