Times Now chief editor Rahul Shivashankar quits channel

Senior journalist Rahul Shivashankar has resigned as the chief editor of Times Now channel, reports said on Tuesday. The reason behind the move is not immediately known.

Shivashankar has updated his Twitter bio as “Editor-in-Chief TIMES NOW, 2016 to 2023”.

According to a Newslaundry report, the channel's human resource department has sent an email to the staff, saying Shivashankar has decided to part ways with the network and that the operations of the channel will be now under Navika Kumar, thr group editor.

Shivashankar had been associated with the Times Now ever since its inception in 2005. In 2013, he left the channel and joined the NewsX as its chief editor. In 2016, After Arnab Goswami left Times Now, Shivashankar returned to the channel as its editor-in-chief.
