In an attempt to end the feud, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi had reportedly met with Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot and former deputy CM Sachin Pilot on Monday ahead of the elections in the state.

"Good news will come soon," Rahul Gandhi was quoted by ANI after coming out of the "reconcilatory" meeting.

Along with Rahul, Congress National General Secretary K.C. Venugopal was also present at the circuit house in Alwar.

According to reports, the meeting between the leaders lasted for an hour after which he left to the Bharat Jodo Yatra camp.

Earlier, before Rahul's yatra entering Rajasthan, war of words took place between both Gehlot and Pilot with the former accusing the latter of being a "traitor". Pilot also hit back questioning his role in the party.

"I find the heaps of praises by PM Modi (on CM Gehlot) very interesting. PM had similarly praised GN Azad in Parliament. We saw what happened after that," Pilot had said to the statement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi praising Gehlot.

Later, the Congress party intervened and diffused the situation.

At the circuit house, Rahul also discussed the upcoming phases of the Bharat Jodo Yatra with the Congress leaders, as per reports.
