Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, on Thursday, claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave him the certificate of 'imandaar' (honest) CM.
"PM made the CBI raid my residence, officials entered my bedroom but they couldn't find anything. Eventually, PM gave me the certificate of 'imandaar' CM," he said.
Kejriwal, who is in Karnataka for a two-day visit, effectively kicked off his party's assembly polls campaign in the state, saying AAP will form government in Karnataka. "Ours is an honest government, we made it in Delhi, then in Punjab, now we will form govt in Karnataka."
Listing his government's achievements in Delhi, he said medical treatment for two crore people is free in Delhi, and the national capital, which used to have eight-hour power cuts, now has 24-hour power supply "with zero bills."
Addressing the farmers' convention being held at the National College grounds, the Delhi CM sought the support of farmer organisations to topple the "“40 per cent government”—a reference to the deceased civil contractor Santosh Patil's claim that former rural development and panchayat raj minister K.S. Eshwarappa demanded 40 per cent commission on a public work—in Karnataka.
Meanwhile, farmer leader Kodihalli Chandrashekar, chief of Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha (KRRS) joined the AAP in the presence of Kejriwal.
