Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann appears to be unruffled by opposition allegations that he is a “rubber stamp” leader. The Congress, Akali Dal and Punjab Lok Congress of Amarinder Singh had criticised Mann after officials of Punjab's state electricity board went to Delhi to meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The opposition claimed the meeting showed that Kejriwal, as supremo of AAP, was running Punjab.

Mann had defended the meeting, stating he would continue sending officials across the country to learn good governance practices.

On Sunday, media reports said that Mann and some ministers would visit government schools and mohalla clinics established by the AAP government in Delhi on Monday. ANI reported Kejriwal would also accompany them on their visit.

The Tribune reported Punjab's health and education ministers and the department's senior bureaucrats would accompany Mann on the visit to see the “improvements” brought by the AAP government.

Last week, Kejriwal had said “And on April 18, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will come to visit our government schools along with his many officials. They are coming to see how such improvements are achieved as they have to do the same in Punjab,” The Tribune reported.

Earlier this month, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin visited government schools and mohalla clinics in Delhi.
