Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal on Friday alleged all other parties fighting the Punjab assembly polls were ganging up to defeat his party and prevent Bhagwant Mann from becoming the chief minister.

Kejriwal shared a video message in the wake of allegations by other parties that the AAP had been close to Khalistanis. Kejriwal said “all the corrupt looted Punjab, caused unemployment, made people addicts”. He claimed the other parties—alluding to the Congress, Shiromani Akali Dal and BJP, which ruled Punjab—looted Rs 3 lakh crore and were keeping the money in “Swiss bank accounts”.

Declaring that a new “honest” party had arrived, referring to AAP, Kejriwal said all the corrupt parties had become frightened and were joining hands.

Kejriwal alleged that numerous rivals—Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra of the Congress; Prime Minister Narendra Modi; Akali Dal's Sukhbir Badal and former chief minister Amarinder Singh—“had come together” and were “speaking the same language”. He claimed that it appeared like “they had a chat on video call or conference call”.

Kejriwal alleged that the other parties were calling him a “terrorist”. Kejriwal was quoted by NDTV as saying “I must be the world's sweetest terrorist, a terrorist who provides schools, hospitals, electricity, roads, water. They have all ganged up against me and they are calling me a terrorist. It is comedy—it is a laughing matter. If that is the case, then why doesn't (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi-ji arrest me?”

Kejriwal said he had learned the NIA could file an FIR against him soon, referring to the allegations of links to Khalistanis.
