Kashmir, Noida experience strong tremors

The epicentre is said to be in the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region

An earthquake rocked Jammu and Kashmir and tremors were felt in Noida and other areas around the National Capital Region.

As per reports, the epicentre is said to be in the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region. According to Kashmir Weather, it was measured 5.7 on the Richter Scale at 9.47am.

There are reports from the valley that people ran out of their homes on feeling the powerful earthquake.

There are no reports of damage to property or injuries in the quake.
