A principal and a teacher of a government boys school at Sangam, Eidgah in Srinagar were shot dead by gunmen on Thursday at Alochi Bagh.
The slain principal was identified as Satinder Kour and the teacher as Deepak Chand. Kour was a resident of Alochibagh and Chan was from Jammu.
The killing of two school officials has come in the wake of the killing of three civilians on Tuesday including noted chemist M L Bindroo, a Kashmir pandit.
The killing of Bindroo was widely condemned by political parties.
