Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday announced that his government has set up 200 oxygen concentrator banks in every district in the national capital. "We're starting an oxygen concentrator bank today. Essential to provide oxygen to COVID patients, on time. We've started this for such patients. 200 such banks have been set up in every district. Our team will provide the concentrator at the doorstep of patients in home isolation, if needed," Kejriwal said.

"If any patient—in home isolation—needs medical oxygen, our teams will reach at their doorstep within two hours. One person—aware of the technical know-how—will be a part of the team to help the patient and their families," he added. Those persons who have been discharged from hospital after treatment of COVID-19 will also be provided concentrators if recommended by doctors, he said.

The chief minister also noted that COVID cases have been plateauing in the national capital. "In the last 24 hours, 6,500 cases have been reported in Delhi, the positivity rate has further gone down to 11 per cent. So corona's impact is going down in Delhi. 1,000 ICU beds have been set up within 15 days, our doctors and engineers have set an example. I thank them," he stated in a televised briefing.
