The bitter tussle over sharing of power in Maharashtra had its ripples in Haryana where Jananayak Janata Party and the BJP have already sealed the deal.
It all began after senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, when asked about the delay in formation of government despite the BJP-Sena alliance, said, "There is no Dushyant in Maharashtra whose father is in jail."
He was referring to Haryana's deputy chief minister and Jannayak Janta Party leader Dushyant Chautala.

According to news agency ANI, the Sena leader said, “Here it is us who do politics of dharma and satya (ethics and truth), Sharad ji (Sharad Pawar) who created an environment against BJP, and Congress who will never go with BJP.”
The comments did not go down well with Dushyant. Hitting out at the Sena, he said Raut's comment shows that he does not know who Dushyant Chautala is. “My father is in jail since six years, he never asked about his well being. Ajay Chautala ji has not come out without completing his term. Such statements don’t add to Sanjay ji’s stature,” ANI quoted him as saying.
On Saturday, Ajay Chautala, who was lodged in the Tihar jail after his conviction in a teachers' recruitment scam, was granted furlough for two weeks. The development had come on a day the BJP staked claim to form the government in Haryana after Dushyant Chautala's JJP offered support to the saffron party, which fell short of a majority in the assembly election.
