Man beheads father for not allowing him to play PUBG

In a shocking incident, a 21-year-old man allegedly killed and beheaded his father for not allowing him to play PUBG (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds) game on his mobile phone.

The incident took place in Katki village near Belgavi in the wee hours of Monday.

Reports said Raghuveer Kammaar, a college student, was addicted to the PUBG game and on Sunday night he asked his father Shankrappa for money to recharge his phone, leading to an altercation between the two. According to police, Raghuveer attacked his 61-year-old father with a kitchen knife after locking his mother's room from outside.

Raghuveer was arrested on Monday afternoon and a case of murder has been registered against him. Police said he had confessed to killing his father.

Shankrappa was working in the police department. 

Shivanand Koujalgi, Inspector of Katki Police Station, told The News Minute that  Raghuveer was not going to college and was also unemployed. He said over the last few months, Shankrappa had been advising Raghuveer to stop playing the game but the boy did not listen to him.
