FCI recruitment 2019: 4,103 vacancies, registration from February 23

The Food Coporation of India (FCI) is expected to soon notify for vacancies to 4,103 posts across India, including that of Junior Engineer (Civil Engineering/ Electrical Mechanical Engineering), Assistant Grade (Hindi), Steno Grade-II (Hindi), and Assistant Grade- III (AG III). 

The official notification from the FCI is expected on February 23. Eligible candidates can start applying for the jobs from February 23 on FCI's official website http://fci.gov.in/. The application window will close on March 25. 

It has been advised that candidates should apply to one zone only. There are five zones, viz, North zone, South zone, East zone, West zone and Northeast zone. North zone has the highest number of vacancies at 1,999. This is followed by West zone at 735, South zone at 540, East zone 538 and Northeast at 291. 

According to news reports, the selection of candidates will be done based on an online exam followed by screen test and document verification.

The admit cards will be available on the official website for download only 15 days prior to the date of examination.
