Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia is likely to be named in a charge-sheet by the Delhi police in the bureaucrat assault case, said media reports citing various sources. Kejriwal will be charged with criminal conspiracy over the alleged attack on Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash that happened in February. 

Anshu Prakash has alleged that he was manhandled and assaulted by AAP lawmakers on the intervening night of February 19 during a meeting at Kejriwal's residence.

It is learnt that the police have prepared a charge-sheet based on the evidence and statements of various people. The chargte-sheet is expected to be filed soon, without much delay.

Kejriwal was questioned and his home was searched twice by the police in connection with the incident.

Soon after the incident, Delhi witnessed a deadlock with the AAP accusing the bureaucrats of skipping meetings and refusal of cooperation. 

Kejriwal and his ministers had been on hunger strike since June 11 evening to press for their demands, including a direction to IAS officers to end their "strike" and action against those who have struck work.
