According to Sacnilk, the film earned around Rs 4.70 crore net in India on Day 4, taking its domestic India net collection to approximately Rs 37.95 crore. The film opened with Rs 8 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 11.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 14.35 crore on Sunday. Its four-day domestic net collection now stands at Rs 38.85 crore.

The Monday decline comes after the film recorded a significant jump in collections over the weekend. Its Sunday earnings were around 24.4 per cent higher than Saturday, helping it close its opening weekend with Rs 33.25 crore net in India. Worldwide, the film had grossed Rs 43.15 crore by the end of Sunday, including Rs 3.50 crore from overseas markets.

Despite receiving mixed reviews, “Vvaan” has delivered one of Sidharth Malhotra’s stronger recent theatrical openings. The film has already surpassed the lifetime domestic collections of some of his previous releases, including “Jabariya Jodi” and “Aiyaary”. It has also surpassed the “Student of the Year” opening weekend figures, giving Malhotra his third-highest opening weekend after “Brothers” and “Ek Villain”.

It has also surpassed Alia Bhatt's “Alpha”, which collected Rs 37.85 crores in its first four days of domestic run. However, the former collected more worldwide in the first four days.

The film has additionally crossed the lifetime domestic collection of Malhotra’s “A Gentleman”, which earned Rs 38.33 crore during its theatrical run.

With its worldwide gross now past the Rs 50 crore mark, Vvaan will look to maintain its momentum through the weekdays. The film will also face fresh competition from Ajay Devgn and Tabu-starrer “Drishyam 3”, which is scheduled to release on October 2.
