'Bethlehem Kudumba Unit' OTT release: JioHotstar confirms streaming date for Nivin Pauly's biggest blockbuster

JioHotstar Malayalam has made a major announcement! Malayalam blockbuster "Bethlehem Kudumba Unit" is all set to make its OTT debut on October 2, 2026. The film will stream exclusively on JioHotstar and will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.

Starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju and directed by Girish A.D., the romantic comedy-drama is arriving on the streaming platform around six weeks after its theatrical release on August 21. The film has enjoyed a highly successful run at the box office, crossing the ₹300 crore mark worldwide.

Made on an estimated budget of ₹25–35 crore, "Bethlehem Kudumba Unit" has reportedly collected ₹326.98 crore worldwide. It earned around ₹152 crore in Kerala, making it the state's highest-grossing film. Its India collection stands at ₹189.23 crore, including an estimated net collection of ₹162.10 crore, while overseas markets contributed around ₹137.75 crore.

The film has also set several major records. It crossed the previous Mollywood worldwide record of ₹301.41 crore, held by "Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra", on its 24th day. It also became the first film to collect more than ₹150 crore from Kerala alone.

Another major achievement was its speed at the box office. The film reached ₹300 crore worldwide in just 24 days. In Kerala, it crossed ₹100 crore in only 14 days, becoming the fourth film to enter the state's ₹100-crore club.

Its worldwide collection has also reportedly surpassed the lifetime collection of several major South Indian films, including Thalapathy Vijay's "Jana Nayagan", which earned ₹324.59 crore.
