Tamil romantic comedy series "#Love", starring Aishwarya Lekshmi and Arjun Das, is set to premiere globally on Netflix on October 2, 2026. The series explores modern dating, technology, and single entrepreneurs who run competing dating platforms. Tara’s app, FOUND, is built around deep personality compatibility, using carefully designed systems to match and explores the unpredictable nature of love through the story of two rival entrepreneurs.

The story follows Tara (Aishwarya Lekshmi) and Matthew (Arjun Das), two single entrepreneurs who run competing dating platforms. Tara’s app, FOUND, is built around deep personality compatibility, using carefully designed systems to match people based on their personalities. Matthew’s platform, Find My Bae, takes the opposite approach, focusing on instant attraction and raw chemistry.

Although both are successful at helping other people find love, their own romantic lives are far less successful. Their professional rivalry takes a personal turn when Tara challenges Matthew to a bet. What begins as competition gradually develops into something neither of their dating algorithms could predict: they fall for each other.

The series is being produced and presented by Soundarya Rajinikanth under May6 Entertainment Factory. Balaji Mohan, known for films such as "Maari", is directing the project, while composer Sean Roldan provides the music. For Aishwarya Lekshmi, "#Love" is an important milestone as her debut as the lead in an OTT web series.

Starting October 2, the series will stream on Netflix India in Tamil, with dubbed versions available in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

While "#Love" marks Aishwarya Lekshmi’s web-series debut, it is not her first major digital-first project. She has appeared in several films and series that either skipped theatrical releases or went directly to streaming. These include "Jagame Thandhiram" (2021), which premiered on Netflix after moving away from its planned theatrical release, and "Kaanekkaane" (2021), which was released directly on SonyLIV. She also appeared in the Amazon Prime Video anthology "Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa" (2022) and the romantic comedy "Pon Ondru Kanden" (2024), which was released digitally.

Arjun Das, however, has followed a more theatre-focused career. His most notable direct-to-streaming film remains "Andhaghaaram" (2020), a supernatural horror thriller, released on Netflix after the pandemic disrupted its planned theatrical release. His intense performance received considerable attention and helped establish him as a strong presence in the digital space.
