The film has become the third-highest-grossing Malayalam movie of 2026 so far, behind "Vaazha 2", which has crossed ₹235 crore, and "Drishyam 3", which has crossed ₹240 crore. With its current worldwide total, "Bethlehem Kudumba Unit" has also entered the Top 10 highest-grossing Malayalam films of all time.
Its performance is especially notable because it is a romantic comedy. Powered by the strong Onam festive season, the film has reportedly become the fastest romantic comedy in Mollywood to cross the ₹200-crore mark. Current trends suggest that it could overtake both "Vaazha 2" and "Drishyam 3" by the end of its third weekend.
The film has also crossed several major milestones. Its ₹205.20-crore worldwide gross has pushed it past the survival drama "2018", placing it seventh on the all-time global chart. It has also become only the seventh Malayalam film to enter the ₹200-crore club.
According to tracking data from Sacnilk, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has earned around ₹84.85 crore gross in Kerala alone by Day 11. After collecting ₹78.50 crore in its first 10 days, it added another ₹6.35 crore on Day 11.
The film has also become the highest-grossing movie of Nivin Pauly’s career, surpassing his previous best, Sarvam Maya, which crossed ₹125 crore globally earlier in 2026. It is also Nivin Pauly’s second film to cross ₹50 crore in Kerala.
