In a week's time, Dhurandhar: The Revenge broke into the ₹1,000 crore club at the worldwide box office, becoming the joint-fastest Indian film ever to achieve this feat. Earlier, the Aditya Dhar-directed film had become the biggest first-week grosser in a single language in its opening weekend. It broke the record held by Pushpa 2: The Rule's (Hindi) ₹425 crore nett first-week collection, box office data-tracking websites said.
A week since its release, Dhurandhar 2 has grossed ₹745+ crore domestically, while its overseas collection is reportedly over ₹260 crore. The latter is something that the crew can be extremely proud of, as the stupendous collection was recorded despite the spy-action thriller being denied a theatrical release by Middle Eastern nations.
"The biggest cumulative seven-day collection belongs to Pushpa 2, which minted 1,011 crore gross worldwide. Whether Dhurandhar 2 can surpass this figure depends on what the final collection will be in overseas markets for the day," Sacnilk said in a report.
Only ten Indian movies, including Dhurandhar 2, have so far got past the ₹1,000 crore mark. It is the fifth from Bollywood after Pathaan, Jawan, Dhurandhar (the first installment), and Dangal to achieve the remarkable feat, reports said.

Allu Arjun's Telugu action flick Pushpa 2: The Rule remains the highest-grossing film at the Indian box office with ₹1,471.10 crore across all languages. Only time will tell if the Ranveer Singh-starrer will be able to break that record and script history.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge was released on 19 March and has already crossed the ₹900 crore mark at the global box office, according to the industry tracking site Sacnilk. Featuring Ranveer in the lead role, the film is a follow-up to Dhar's 2025 release, Dhurandhar, which went on to earn over ₹1,000 crore at the box office worldwide.
The sequel charts the rise of Singh's character, Hamza Ali Mazari, in the Karachi underworld while also delving into his origins as Jaskirat Singh Rangi—tracing the journey of the young man who eventually transforms into the covert operative.
