The much-anticipated sequel to Ranveer Singh's spy drama Dhurandhar has finally reached movie screens, and the reactions are wild. Dhurandhar: The Revenge, or simply Dhurandhar 2, has left netizens divided, as one section finds it "another propaganda movie" aligning with the incumbent Indian government. However, even these naysayers seem to have no negative remarks regarding the technical brilliance and performances throughout the Aditya Dhar movie.
Last night, I watched #Dhurandhar2. It's just sheer perfection from the makers & actors. Gonna watch it again over this weekend with my buds. Dhurandhar : The Revenge is a damn good movie. It's a lengthy one. But, it keeps you seated. Aditya Dhar & Ranveer Singh 👏🏻👏🏻 pic.twitter.com/brwrn5Ms69

Reports claimed that by 7 am, Dhurandhar 2 had raked in a little over ₹55 crore in net domestic collection, according to early estimates by Sacnilk. This includes close to ₹44 crore it made on preview day.
In an early review, industry tracker Taran Adarsh stated that the movie delivers on every front—"scale, drama, emotions, action, performances and impact."
He said the movie lives up to expectations, as the director has returned with a "vision that is bigger, sharper and far more ambitious."
According to the reviewer, the movie is "tightly written, fast-paced and loaded with goosebumps-inducing moments", and the climax is "explosive, emotional and immensely satisfying."
Those who were upset watching the first movie will go crazy watching the second one. It's an out and out post 2014 India shining story!#Dhurandhar2

It's not a typical YRF glossed-over fictional Spy movie.
It's a brutal movie centred around real events.
It has political overtones that scream in your face, it should.
The reviews will be polarised.
4 stars from my side.
Early reactions are pouring in on X for Dhurandhar: The Revenge, thanks to those who watched early screenings of the film. Here are some such reviews that are worth checking out if you are planning to catch the movie:
