The longer, full-length trailer of Ranveer Singh's "Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge" is finally here. More violent, more furious... far bloodier. Basically, Ranveer Singh in beast mode, proceeding to finish off the work his spy started in the first film. Expect chopped hands, disembowelling, smashed heads, volumes of spurting blood, and lots of fireworks. The footage introduces visuals not present in the first teaser that was attached to the end of the first movie and released last month online.
The makers of "Dhurandhar 2" have also confirmed that it will indeed arrive in theatres on March 19, with the announcement of the advanced bookings for paid previews on March 18.
The film is expected to do well, especially since Yash’s "Toxic" is now delayed to June. The movie is also said to be very long, almost four hours, making it the longest Indian film of the 21st century. Actors like Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna are expected to return.
The first "Dhurandhar" broke many box office records and became the highest-earning Hindi film ever, in India and worldwide. Its Netflix release on January 30 made it popular around the world. The new movie, however, will stream on JioHotstar.
