Starring Noah Wyle, the show created by R. Scott Gemmill is expected to have a longer run, judging by the response from both audiences and critics alike.

Viewers who work in the medical community were especially bowled over by the first season's accurate and occasionally triggering portrayal of relatable concerns such as staff shortage and the challenges that come with handling individuals with moody temperaments as doctors, nurses and other hospital staff members deal with gruelling schedules, suffering patients, grieving relatives, and personal dilemmas. Some physicians have acknowledged the way the show gets the details right about their profession, especially in a post-pandemic scenario.

The second season, spanning 15 episodes, is currently streaming in HBO MAX and JioHotstar in India.

The first season fetched 13 Emmy nominations, wining five, for best drama,  casting, and performances.
