'The RajaSaab' runtime reduced? Prabhas's movie edited for optimal experience: Report

The film, which also stars Malavika Mohanan and Sanjay Dutt, is already showing strong performance in advance international bookings ahead of its release

There were initial reports that Prabhas's much-anticipated The RajaSaab would have a runtime of above three hours. However, a new update from entertainment handle @AlwaysBollywood suggests the makers took the joint decision to trim the runtime to make the whole experience more gripping.

The team has reportedly chopped around 15-20 minutes, bringing the runtime to less than 3 hours. The final duration of the horror comedy is expected to be around 175 minutes.

The RajaSaab is opening globally on the same day as superstar Vijay's Jana Nayagan. According to a report in Sacnilk, the advance bookings for the movie are off to a great start in international markets. have opened on a promising note in international markets. "In North America and the United Kingdom, the film has already sold over 17,500 tickets each, indicating a solid start. As of early January, the premiere advance sales in the USA had crossed over $425,000," said the report.

The paid premieres will commence on January 8.

Also featuring Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan, and Nidhhi Agerwal in integral roles, the film was recently cleared by the censors with a U/A certificate.

Touted as a massive romantic horror-comedy with fantasy elements, The Raja Saab is Prabhas's first movie in the horror genre. The 'Rebel Star' plays a carefree young man who, after inheriting a haunted ancestral mansion, has to deal with the spirit of his grandfather, played by Sanjay Dutt, haunting the place. The movie will see Prabhas in a fun avatar once again after Kalki 2898 AD.
