Tere Ishk Mein is off to a rapid start at the domestic box office. While the growth on the second day wasn't huge when compared to the first day, it must be noted that the opening day numbers in itself were huge. Therefore, the two-day figures of Rs 32 crore nett is an excellent start for the film.

The audience feedback to the film is mixed and there are polarised views on social media. However, it is the word-of-mouth from the masses that counts and Monday will tell where the film stands in terms of a long run. As for Sunday, Tere Ishk Mein is set to have another strong day at the box office.

The film opened to about 15 percent average all-India occupancy and that improved to 25 percent in the afternoon shows. The evening shows have also shown further growth but a couple of factors are likely to be at play here. Firstly, with winter setting in, night shows may not be huge in north India and the ODI match between India and South Africa could also affect Tere Ishk Mein on its third day.

Nevertheless, early estimates suggest a figure of around Rs 16-17 crore nett, and the final figure could go a bit higher or lower depending on how the night shows fare. That would take the weekend figures of Tere Ishk Mein to approximately Rs 47-48 crore nett and a gross of about Rs 57-58 crore.

Monday's figures are crucial for the film to attain the HIT status but such a big opening has ensured that the film will at least be a safe venture for the makers.
