Jolly LLB 3 is at the fag end of its theatrical run, especially with De De Pyaar De 2 hitting theatres on November 14 onward. The Akshay Kumar-Arshad Warsi starrer ends as a hugely underwhelming film at the box office, both in India and overseas.
Jolly LLB (2013) and Jolly LLB 2 (2017) were both films that had critical acclaim and box office success. While Warsi starred in the first installment, Kumar took it up a few notches with the sequel that had excellent repeat value. All this meant that Jolly LLB 3 had immense buzz leading upto its release but the promos weren't impressive enough.
It meant an opening day of barely Rs 12 crore nett for Jolly LLB 3, which is lesser than what Jolly LLB 2 managed eight years ago. However, the film ended with a Rs 50 crore nett in the weekend with an excellent trend on Saturday and Sunday. There was belief that the film might have the legs for a long successful run but all that came down crashing on Monday.
Jolly LLB 3 eventually ends its theatrical run with Rs 115.20 crore nett, which would be a gross figure of approximately Rs 138.60. The story was embarrassing overseas as the film only managed $3.50 million, which is roughly Rs 30.20 crore in INR. The worldwide gross for Jolly LLB 3 is set to end at Rs 168.80 - extremely disappointing numbers for a franchise film.

For the record, Jolly LLB 2 had a worldwide gross of Rs 183 crore despite releasing eight years ago with lesser average ticket price. It shows the level of underperformance that Jolly LLB 3 has shown at the box office. Overall, the film will be a losing venture and is set to finish as a FLOP with the theatrical rights reportedly sold for Rs 75 crore in India. The distributor share would barely be Rs 60 crore.
Verdict: FLOP
