Apple TV has announced a new intriguing crime series titled "Guilty Creatures". Julia Garner, known for her acclaimed performances in "Ozark", "The Assistant", and "Weapons", has been tapped to star in and executive produce. The project has gained more weight after Craig Gillespie — director of "I, Tonya" and "Lars and the Real Girl" — has confirmed his involvement. Tomorrow Studios, the banner behind "ONE PIECE" and "Physical", is bankrolling.

Other principal crew members include showrunner and executive producer Stuart Zicherman (“The Shrink Next Door,” “Sweetbitter,” “The Americans”), with writing handled by Sarah DeLappe (“Bodies Bodies Bodies”). Gillespsie has had prior television experience, with his most recent work being the Jon Hamm-fronted series "Your Friends & Neighbors" (also on Apple TV).

As per the official logline provided by Apple TV, the adaptation "delves into the psyche of a torrid romance and subsequent act of murder between two young, adulterous but God-fearing lovers, unraveling their complex lives and the emotional toll of living as killers for 18 years. This riveting true-crime narrative, set against a backdrop of sex and murder in the Florida panhandle, promises to become an instant classic."

Aside from "Guilty Creatures", Garner is also part of "The Altruists", a Netflix limited series chronicling the rise and fall of cryptocurrency exchange FTX. She plays former Alameda Research CEO Caroline Ellison. Additionally, she is also appearing in "Tyrant", an upcoming feature film from Amazon MGM Studios, in which she is filming alongside Charlize Theron and Demi Moore. She is also on board for the second season of Apple TV's much-acclaimed "The Studio" alongside Madonna, Michael Keaton, and Seth Rogen.
