Hours after the release trailer of Pranav Mohanlal's Dies Irae was out, his father and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has changed his profile picture matching the poster of the movie. This has led to speculations that Mohanlal is part of the horror thriller's cast.
Dies Irae, which is directed by the director of Bhramayugam and Bhoothakaalam, is set to release on October 31.
Since the full cast details of Dies Irae is yet to be revealed officially, there are speculations that Mohanlal might play a cameo in the movie. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the same.
The trailer of Dies Irae has received positive response on social media with fans praising Pranav's handling of the character from what can be guaged from the available footage. His character, seeming to going through an emotional turmoil, appears in a mysterious and scary situation.
Dies Irae, which comes with the tagline, The Day of Wrath, is produced by Night Shift Studios and Y Not Studios. The name, 'Dies Irae', is taken from a Latim hymn that describes the Last Judgment. The music composed by Christo Xavier is also being praised by the viewers.
One of the fans said the final shot in the trailer would be "hell of a theatre experience" while another said the combo of Pranav Mohanlal and Rahul Sadasivan would be "deadly".
