The Season 3 of Japanese sci-fi series Alice in Borderland is releasing on Netflix after almost a three-year hiatus since Season 2 arrived.
It was in December 2022 that Alice in Borderland Season 2 released as live-action adaptation of Haro Aso's popular manga of the same title. It ended with a cliffhanger Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) and Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) succeeds in returning to the real world. However, the a Joker card appears on the screen, casting a shadow on their happy ending.
When will Alice in Borderland Season 3 release?
Alice in Borderland Season 3 released on Netflix on September 25, 2025 at 12.30 pm.
All the six episodes will be released together. The previous two season has eight episodes each.
What to expect from Alice in Borderland Season 3?
The plot of Alice in Borderland Season 3 will continue to revolve around Usagi and Arisu, who are now happily married. Usagi who is kidnapped by a scholar obsessed about afterlife, gets pregnant in the new season. This forces Arisu to go back to the dangerous Borderland to rescue her.
The new season will explore themes like death, suicide and depression as more deadly games and challenges await the characters.
Who are the cast in Alice in Borderland Season 3?
Kento Yamazaki will play Arisu and Tao Tsuchiya will return as Usagi in Season 3. Other cast members include Hayato Isomura, Ayaka Miyoshi, Katsuya Maiguma, Koji Ohkura, Risa Sudou, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Tina Tamashiro, Kotaro Daigo, Hyunri, Sakura Kiryu, Yugo Mikawa, Joey Iwanaga, Akana Ikeda and Kento Kaku.
