Shahid Kapoor recently announced that his fourth film with director Vishal Bhardwaj ("Haider", "Kaminey") has finished shooting. On Sunday, Sept. 14, the actor revealed the title: O'Romeo.
Co-starring Tripti Dimrii, Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, and a surprise cameo from a notable actor, whose name is being kept under wraps, the film will hit theatres on Valentine's Day 2026.

In an earlier note announcing filming completion, Shahid wrote, "Excitement levels are off the charts. Our secretly titled soon to be announced film is done. As always it’s a new world and a madly different character for me to play. A titular part from him for the 3rd time. I am one of the KAMINEY I am HAIDER and now I am …….. This post can’t be complete without including the stellar cast: Tripti Dimri who I had a total blast with. Watch out for her act in this one. Nana Patekar, thank you for those oh so layered scenes we got together. Farida Jalal ji, for your warmth and grace. Shahid also had praise for the work of Disha Patani, who makes a special appearance.
As for the surprise cameo, Shahid simply hinted that he is one of his favourite actors. "This one’s SUPER SPECIAL," he concluded.
