Lokah Chapter: 1 Chandra has bagged a total of Rs 54.7 crore in net domestic collection in the eight-day extended first week and looks to continue wooing moviegoers during the Onam holidays.
The Malayalam version of Lokah Chapter: 1 Chandra minted Rs 42.5 crore in the first week while Tamil edition raked in Rs 5.05 crore and Telugu Rs 7.15 crore. The second weekend could see lot more money flowing in, thanks to the Onam weekend in Kerala as well as the release of the Hindi version on September 4.
How much did Lokah Chapter: 1 Chandra collect on Day 9?
Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films, Lokah Chapter: 1 Chandra bagged Rs 7.79 crore in domestic box office on Day 9, as per figures available at 10 pm, reported Sacnilk. This makes the total net India collection to Rs 62.49 crore. Stay tuned for hourly updates of the box office figures.
Lokah Chapter: 1 Chandra, which was initially released in 250 screens, has doubled its screens to 503, according to box office analyst AB George. In Kerala alone, around 65 to 70 per cent screens are playing the Kalyani Priyadarshan film.
The film also stars Naslen, Chandu Salim Kumar, Arun Kurian and Santhi Balachandran.
On Day 1, Lokah Chapter: 1 Chandra collected Rs 2.7 crore, followed by Rs 4 crore on Day 2, Rs 7.6 crore on Day 3, Rs 10.1 crore on Day 4, Rs 7.2 crore on Day 5, Rs 7.77 crore on Day 6, Rs 7.1 crore on Day 7 and Rs 8.35 crore on Day 8.
In seven days, Lokah Chapter: 1 Chandra already crossed Rs 100 crore in worldwide box office collection. Other Malayalam films to cross Rs 100 crore at the worldwide box office include Pulimurugan (2016), Lucifer (2019), 2018 (2023), Manjummel Boys (2024), Premalu (2024), Aadujeevitham (2024), Aavesham (2024), ARM (2024), Marco (2024), Empuraan (2025) and Thudarum (2025).
