The next SS Rajamouli film with Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled SSMB29, is one of the most eagerly awaited enterprises for obvious reasons.

On Saturday, August 9, Rajamouli shared a teaser poster of the film, the title of which is still being kept under wraps. There is probably a hint in the hashtag with which the Baahubali maker shared the poster: #GlobeTrotter

In a statement, the filmmaker wrote that the idea of sharing pictures and doing press conferences doesn't appeal to him as they won't do justice to what he is currently making.  "It has been a while since we began shooting, and we appreciate your eagerness to know about the film.

However, the story and score of this film are so vast that I feel mere pictures of press conferences cannot do it justice," he said, adding that a "never-before-seen" reveal will be shared online in November to "showcase the essence, depth, and immersive world" he's creating.

The big-budget multi-starrer, which has Prithviraj Sukumaran in a supposedly antagonist role, was launched at the beginning of the year. Priyanka Chopra is reportedly playing the female lead.

The plot details of the big-scale film are currently being kept under wraps. However, there are hints of Mahesh Babu playing an adventurer on a special quest, which the teaser poster seems to confirm, aside from the implication that it will be an action-packed ride shot across the globe. His character is wearing a chain with a locket made up of elements associated with Lord Shiva, suggesting the presence of mythological elements, too.

Initially, there were reports of the film's release being planned as a two-parter, but the makers have since then decided to release it as one. Produced by KL Narayana, the film once again marks the creative collaboration between Rajamouli and his father, Vijayendra Prasad, who also wrote the Baahubali films and RRR.
