Podcaster and social media influencer Ranveer Allahbadia has announced that he is returning to podcasting soon with 'The Ranveer Show'. After the 'India's Got Latent' fiasco caused by his controversial joke that led to much public outcry, Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, has promised fans and well-wishers that he will create content with "more responsibility" in the future.
Allahbadia posted a video titled 'Let's Talk' on his YouTube page, he asked people to make space for him in their hearts and give him one more chance. "There was a forced break, which gave me time to embrace stillness. I got to know that so many Indians consider me a family member... To all of them, sorry. In the next 10, 20, 30 years, as long as I create content, I will do it with more responsibility."
An influential podcaster with a huge following, Ranveer thanked his audiences and added that he is trying to "write a new story" and hopes to see people support him and his team in what he calls a "new phase".
The apex court had granted Ranveer permission to continue his show earlier this month. The Supreme Court granted him interim protection from arrest while terming his remarks "vulgar".
Ranveer posted a picture of him on Instagram with his team comprising 300 people, whom he thanked for resigning despite everything that happened. "My entire team has supported me, my entire family has supported me. From the team, not even a single person resigned throughout this phase. All our professional associates and business associates... they also supported us. Thank you again," he wrote.
While asking people to give him one more chance, Ranveer said in the video that content creation is a huge passion of his. "I like content creation a lot, I like podcasting a lot, to explore the history and culture of our country, that's my passion. That's what I am doing through my job and that's what I want to do."
He considers the "mushkil" phase that he experienced a learning phase, not a punishment. "It's a learning, a transformation. God has given so much till now and so I consider this phase also as a gift. It came into my life for the sake of my growth and my transformation. Now I will just let my work speak," he said.
