The team behind Yash's much-anticipated Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has announced an official release date. The Geetu Mohandas directorial will hit theatres on March 19, 2026, which will help the team take advantage of the multiple holidays falling on that weekend.
The release delay can be possibly attributed to the makers shooting the big-budget entertainer in Kannada and English simultaneously, naturally leading to longer shooting schedules. However, doing this will ensure maximum eyeballs. The other regional versions such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, will be dubbed.
Bankrolled by Yash's company Monster Mind Creations and Venkat K Narayana's KVN Productions, the film also boasts, aside from Yash, a stellar ensemble. Nayanthara, Darrell D'Silva, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, and Sajol Ahamed are reportedly part of the cast.
The team recently released a first-look teaser footage that gave fans a glimpse of Yash's look in the film.

The film boasts an international technical team that comprises action choreography veteran JJ Perry, known for his work in films such as Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained and a couple of John Wick films.
Veteran cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, also Geetu's husband, handles the camera. Rajeev has worked on several acclaimed films of Anurag Kashyap, such as Gangs of Wasseypur and Dev.D, in addition to popular Malayalam films like Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum and Virus.
The visual effects are being handled by the firm Double Negative (DNEG), which contributed to some high-profile projects such as Christopher Nolan's Inception, Tenet, and Interstellar, and Denis Villeneuve's two Dune films and Blade Runner 2049.
