The Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh film 'Mere Husband Ki Biwi' will be hitting theatres on February 21, alongside two Malayalam releases — 'Officer on Duty', on February 20; 'Get-Set Baby', on February 21 — and a Tamil release 'Dragon'

This week will see the third season of acclaimed series The White Lotus streaming on JioHotstar, and the theatrical release of the Kunchacko Boban-starrer Officer on Duty, another police thriller written by Shahi Kabir (Joseph, Nayattu); and the post-theatrical release of Nandamuri Balakrishna's Daaku Maharaaj on Netflix.

Nandamuri Balakrishna, aka NBK, stars as a skilled robber dubbed “Daaku Maharaaj”, who must fight against external forces and powerful supernatural adversaries in order to survive. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and Urvashi Rautela.

Zero Day

When “zero day” – a vulnerability in software that can be exploited for hacking – hits the United States, former President George Mullen is given the onus to find the origin of these cyberattacks before the national security is compromised. Created by Eric Newman, Noah Oppenheim, and Michael Schmidt, the series features Robert De Niro, Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Plemons, Joan Allen, and Connie Britton.

Reacher Season 3

Jack Reacher, a former U.S. Army military police major, faces his past when he is tasked to track down his old nemesis he assumed he killed years ago – Francis Xavier Quinn. When Quinn kidnaps a DEA officer, Reacher is drawn into another deadly conflict. Based on the Jack Reacher novel series by Lee Child and developed by Nick Santora, the series stars Alan Ritchson, Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald, Chris Webster and Brian Tee.

While it seems like a relaxing getaway for most – from old friends reuniting to a romantic getaway – The White Lotus hotel in Thailand brings together a group of people who get entangled in scandals, turning their holiday into a nightmare. Created by Mike White, the show features Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Jason Isaacs.

American Murder: Gabby Petito

Release date: February 17

Gabby Petito and her fiancee Brian Laundrie set out for a cross-country van trip, documenting their journey on social media. But the seemingly happy couple’s life was took a dark turn when Laundrie murdered Petito and hid her body. The sensational case from August 2021 will now be explored deeper in the new Netflix crime documentary. 

Oops! Ab Kya?

Release date: February 21

A remake of American comedy series Jane the Virgin, Oops! Ab Kya? follows the story of Ruhi, who, although she has never been physically intimate with a man, unexpectedly finds herself pregnant due to a medical mishap. As she faces immense societal judgement, her life spirals down more when she finds out that the baby daddy is her boss. Directed by Prem Mistry and Debatma Manda, the series stars Shweta Basu Prasad, Jaaved Jaaferi, Ashim Gulati, Amy Aela, and Abhay Mahajan.

Mere Husband Ki Biwi

Ankur gets twisted in love when his amnesiac ex-wife, Prabhleen, tries to win back his affection while he is at the beginning stages of a new relationship with Antara. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film stars Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Rakul Preet Singh, Dino Morea, and Harsh Gujral. 

Dragon

Release date: February 21

Post academic failure and a brutal breakup with his girlfriend, Ragavan wants to leave it all behind and start fresh. Wanting to get rich quick, he enters into the dangerous world of financial fraud but falls too deep into the rabbit hole. Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the film features Pradeep Ranganathan, Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, George Maryan, and Indumathy Manikandan.

Get-Set Baby

Dr Arjun Balakrishnan is a gynaecologist and an IVF specialist. He navigates through his past, as the only male student in the gynaecology department, and his present as an excellent doctor. Amidst his career, he falls for a woman who initially despises him. Directed by Vinay Govind, the film stars Unni Mukundan, Nikhila Vimal, Chemban Vinod Jose, Shyam Mohan, and Surabhi Lakshmi.

Officer on Duty

Release date: February 20

Investigating a suicide that could be a probable murder, Officer on Duty chronicles the story of a cop, recently demoted from Deputy Superintendent to Circle Inspector, who uncovers a counterfeit jewellery racket, as he gets entangled in a web of conflicts and deceit. Directed by Jithu Asharef, the film features Kunchacko Boban, Priyamani, Jagadish, Vishak Nair, and Ramzan Muhammed.

Babygirl

Release date: February 21

Romy Mathis is the CEO of a robotic process automation company. Her life becomes disrupted when she starts to have an affair with one of her much younger interns. Directed by Halina Reijn, the film stars Nicole Kidman, Harris Dickinson, Antonio Banderas, Sophie Wilde, and Esther McGregor.
