Malayalam star Nivin Pauly has announced a superhero movie titled Multiverse Manmadhan, which will see him as the lead and producing under his home banner Pauly Jr. Pictures.

Adithyan Chandrashekar, who directed Enkilum Chandrike, is helming the film penned by him, Anandu and Nithi Raj, with Aneesh Rajasekharan as a creative collaborator.

Sharing the poster on his Instagram handle, Nivin wrote the project "hits close" to his heart and calls it "India’s first Multiverse Superhero movie."

The team is planning to release it in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu languages.

Pauly, last seen in Dijo Jose Antony's Malayalee from India, has Ram's Tamil film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai co-starring Soori and Anjali in his upcoming lineup.

The actor is also reuniting with Love Action Drama co-star Nayanthara for Dear Students, directed by Sandeep Kumar and George Philip Roy.

This year will most likely see the premiere of Pauly's web series debut, through filmmaker PR Arun's Pharma, in which he is sharing the screen with Rajit Kapur, Narain, Shruti Ramachandran, and Veena Nandakumar. It has music by Jakes Bejoy.

Additionally, Pauly recently confirmed his second collaboration with producer Gokulam Gopalan after Kayamkulam Kochunni. While the details of the project have not been revealed yet, it is expected to be another big-scale film.

A couple of days ago, Pauly posted a new picture in a slimmer look, which was well-received by fans, who have been waiting for him to make a big comeback after his successful extended cameo in Vineeth Sreenivasan's Varshangalkku Shesham. In the film, his meta humour, drawing from his own real-life experiences, worked well with audiences.
